Now it is <em>&#8216;Christopher&#8217;<\/em>. With single quotes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why single quotes and not double? I don&#8217;t know, except that I&#8217;ve been using single quotes in my writing for a long time now. It&#8217;s Continental, or at least British, which seems classier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I put little lines through my sevens, too, like the Germans, although I still draw a 1 with one straight line instead of two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking for examples, I found <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Regional_handwriting_variation\">this <\/a>article. It shows the various ones but not the sevens. It made me remember that I write my threes and fours a little differently sometimes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But it says nothing about quotes. <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Quotation_mark\">Here<\/a> is the entry on quotes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TMI?
